The second day of the Conference will highlight the good things people are doing across the Archdiocese to facilitate teaching, learning, and ministry during these uncertain and disruptive times. Sessions will be presented by Catechists, Liturgical Directors, Volunteers, Clergy, Teachers, Administrators, and staff from various locations throughout the Archdiocese. Experts from EdTechTeam, Microsoft, Apple Educators and the FBI will also provide topic specific sessions throughout the day. But, even in more "normal" circumstances, live streaming can be a valuable tool for a parish to have at their disposal. This session will discuss how to captivate teenagers’ interest in prayer and reflection with tools they are already familiar with and use regularly. There isn't a lot of Catholic audio content online geared towards teenagers, free or otherwise. Learn how to create content using Soundcloud and familiarize yourself with Spotify to find content for prayer and reflection. Attendees will be able to use these platforms and show teenagers how to take prayer and reflection with them everywhere on their phones. Note: Soundcloud is the world's largest open audio platform, and Spotify is a digital music service with free and member based subscriptions. This session will discuss the goal of experience based-learning: Engaging the whole student (mind, body, soul), finding personal significance or meaning, recognize prior learning and provide reflective opportunities thought and discussion within the class. This presentation will review experience-based learning assignments and projects from a high school religious studies class. Assignments and projects range from writing essays, participating in small groups and classroom discussions using Flipgrid and Twitter. There were control and security issues Zoom users learned about, once they began using the Zoom platform for Distance Learning. PATHWAYS TO LEADERSHIP IN THE ADLA

In this session, attendees will learn about the pathways to leadership in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the prerequisites to leading a school in the ADLA, along with the application process. CREATING AN ONLINE PASTORAL CARE PLAN FOR YOUTH MINISTRY

In this session, presenters will discuss how high school campus ministry programs had to move to distance learning this year, the Campus Ministry team at St. Mary's Academy put together an online pastoral care plan in order to provide spiritual care not only for the students but the faculty and staff as well. In this workshop, Alejandra Angel (Director of Campus Ministry) and Jared Anderson (Campus Ministry Associate) will discuss the process on how to create an online pastoral care plan that will work in either a school or parish setting. In this session Cybersecurity expert John Tran and the team at the newly forming Catholic Polytechnic University, will discuss the basics of Cybersecurity, the art of protecting networks, devices, and data from unauthorized access or criminal use and the practice of ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.  Learn the basics and get your questions answered. Catholic Polytechnic University will offer a BS in Cybersecurity through courses guided by Catholic principles and ethics. The first certificate-eligible courses will be offered free of charge to Archdiocesan schools and ministries. This presentation offers an overview of cybersecurity and information on how to participate.
