When a device is no longer in possession of or used by the school for any reason, it IS the responsibility of the school to notify ADLA.
This includes lost, stolen, damaged, end-of-life, sold and discarded devices. Any device that meets this criteria need to be reported to ADLA with the device details: Serial Number, MEID, IMEI within 30 days.
Each C3 IGNITE device is equipped with data (like a phone). Unreported devices can cost the C3 Ignite Program in LTE Connectivity and Workspace One licenses that could be redistributed to other schools in need.
To report the device, submit a ticket through the ACC ticking system > Help Topic: C3 IGNITE: General Question
Under the C3 Ignite Warranty Policy, eligible iPads that are submitted for damage or loss will receive a new device. Schools should be documenting the ticket submission, noting which device was being replaced, and be prepared to enroll the iPad into Workspace One upon receipt. It is imperative that all devices are actively enrolled in Workspace One and remain so until the device’s end of life. Workspace One is an excellent tool to easily configure multiple devices at once, but it is also a critical component to maintain visibility and security to your C3 Ignite iPads.

Failure to remain actively enrolled in Workspace One risks loss of LTE Connectivity, MDM security and continued device participation.
As the school year winds down, it's time for Administrators and Tech Leads to begin summer iPad cleanup activities and Prepare for a New School Year. Many of you have project plans that might include Device and Accessory Assessment, App and Content Modifications, Administrator Login Changes, and iOS Updates. This is also a great time to complete the annual sToken Renewal. Due to an Apple School Manager project in the Fall, sTokens were renewed for most schools and are not due again until Nov 2022. However, the C3 Ignite Support team suggests that you include renewing this token during this summer’s cleanup activities to avoid missing the expiration mid-year. By updating your yearly project plan to include this step, you can minimize service impacts throughout the school year.

Sprint is now T-Mobile! All C3 IGNITE iPads will soon enjoy the benefits of T-Mobile’s larger, faster, and more robust network. Participation is mandatory and time-sensitive for all C3 IGNITE schools before the currently used Sprint network is shut down, please keep a lookout for any meeting invites or email communications regarding the migration and respond in a timely manner to any requests. Your partnership is valued, and we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
Based on the specific iPad models at each school, all C3 IGNITE schools will fall into one of three migration projects from now through June 2022. Some schools have already begun the process, with many more starting communications and planning. In the month of March, those schools who have not already been contacted will be invited to join a mandatory, informational Zoom Meeting to discuss requirements, expectations, and opportunities to schedule your device migrations.
Have a broken iPad or other issues? The process to get support starts by opening a Support Ticket. Many C3 IGNITE Support tickets that are opened in the ACC Ticketing System are being unintentionally assigned to other ADLA support groups and can go missed or unanswered.
